Don't know, we'll need to do further testing.

Re: Installed ImageMagick But no delegates

When you run the configure script on the command-line, it will determine if a particular delegate is available to incorporate with ImageMagick. Check the last 50 or so lines of the configure script. Here's a snippet on our system: TIFF --with-tiff=yes yes WEBP --with-webp=yes yes WMF --with-wmf=yes ...

Re: backslashes in label:

Thanks for the problem report. We can reproduce it and will have a patch to fix it in the GIT master branch @ https://github.com/ImageMagick/ImageMagick later today. The patch will be available in the beta releases of ImageMagick @ https://www.imagemagick.org/download/beta/ by sometime tomorrow.

Re: font rendering

Preprocessing removes one of the backslashes so the label becomes: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows. However, backslash is an escape character, see https://imagemagick.org/script/escape.php. This means the label must be label:"C:\\\Users\\\Administrator\\\AppData\\\Roaming\\\...

Re: font rendering

The backslashes are unexpectedly being removed, likely from the string pre-processing. We will have a patch for that in the next few days. We'll also look into improved mono-font rendering.

Re: problem during executing MagickWand resize method parallel (MultiThread)

See the ImageMagick architecture overview @ https://imagemagick.org/script/architecture.php. To prevent excessive memory usage, limit it, and ImageMagick will push the pixel cache to disk, reducing memory requirements, with a small performance penalty.

Re: potential bug -resize IM 6.9.11.2 and IM 7.0.10.2 Q16 Mac OSX Sierra

Sampling selects existing pixels that are in the image (full coverage) whereas scale and resize blends pixels (partial coverage). Each pixel component is first multiplied by the alpha value and then again my the percentage of coverage of neighboring pixels to return the final color for the resized/s...

Re: problem during executing MagickWand resize method parallel (MultiThread)

Killed likely means you are exceeding the memory limits of the Java program or process. Try limiting memory with a MagickCore method or with an environment variable. See MAGICK_MEMORY_LIMIT @ https://imagemagick.org/www/script/reso ... nvironment.

Re: potential bug -resize IM 6.9.11.2 and IM 7.0.10.2 Q16 Mac OSX Sierra

Note sure why it works for us and not for you. Changing transparent pixels to rgba(0,0,0,0) aka "none" has been what we've done for years per discussions with Anthony way way back. It is the correct behavior when blending a fully transparent pixel and extends to all algorithms in ImageMagick that bl...

Re: potential bug -resize IM 6.9.11.2 and IM 7.0.10.2 Q16 Mac OSX Sierra

You are getting expected results as a fully transparent color is sRGB(0,0,0,0). What we think you want is to treat the alpha channel independently rather than blending, for that try -channel sync for IMv7: $ convert in.png -resize 50% txt: | grep ^24,186 24,186: (0,0,0,0) #00000000 none $ convert in...

Re: Extract Clipping Image

See if the problem is inkscape. Try these commands: magick identify -quiet -format "%[8BIM:1999,2998:#1]" 1584707760age.jpg > test.svg inkscape test.svg --export-file='test.png' --export-dpi=96 --export-background='rgb(100%,100%,100%)' --export-background-opacity=1 > test.log Note, if your inkscape ...

Re: Extract Clipping Image

Your command works runs to completion without complaint on our Mac OSX Powerbook with the latest OS and XCode release installed. We tried the latest releases of ImageMagick version 6 & 7.

Re: Extract Clipping Image

Its possible Mac OSX is killing your process because its using too much memory. Try this command instead:

Code: Select all

convert -limit area 2MiB 1584707760age.jpg -alpha transparent -clip -alpha opaque -strip 1584707760age_clip.png
