Ok, thanks so much for following this up. We'll wait for the new release.

Re: Installing delegate FlashPIX (libpfx) fails in Debian/Ub

I just checked the config.ac file and it appears Antonio's patch has not been applied. When do you think that his implementation may be accepted and added into a release?

Re: Installing delegate FlashPIX (libpfx) fails in Debian/Ub

Take a look at config.log. It will tell you precisely why the FlashPix delegate library failed to validate. Fix the problem and rerun the configure script until the validation is successful. Hi, thanks for your response. However honestly that's not very helpful. I *have* looked at the config.log - ...

Re: Installing delegate FlashPIX (libpfx) fails in Debian/Ub

Hello there. I've been following this bug and a number of releases have happened since this was apparently added to the trunk. Is this now fixed? We're trying to compile Imagemagick 6.8.9-6 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and still can't get FlashPIX to be recognised. Performing configure results in; ----------...

Re: Installing delegate (libfpx) on Ubuntu 12.04 fails

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I can confirm I have the stdc++ library installed. Here is the relevant section from config.log. configure:28753: checking for FlashPIX configure:28755: result: configure:28766: checking fpxlib.h usability configure:28766: g++ -c -g -O2 -pthread -fopenmp -DMAGICKCORE_H...

Re: Installing delegate (libfpx) on Ubuntu 12.04 fails

Did anyone find a solution for this or have any suggestions?

I believe I have the same problem. I've tried compiling FlashPix on a few different versions of Ubuntu Server and whilst the compile/install of the FlashPix library seems fine, ImageMagick can never find it during configure?

Re: Why is ufraw-batch used by default on linux?

I worked it out.

I needed to define the full path in delegates.xml.

Thanks!

Re: Why is ufraw-batch used by default on linux?

Thanks so much for the reply and the patch - that's exactly what I needed! Very much appreciated. I was able to successfully apply the patch and build Dcraw however I have a strange issue. When I call convert from the command line, it works; '/usr/bin/convert' '/media/Sparkler/MG_4988.CR2'[0] +matte...

Re: Why is ufraw-batch used by default on linux?

Hi. Thanks so much for the replies. My understanding is that IM must be re-installed (at least on unix) when you update a delegate. I would not use the delegates from the IM directory. They may be outdated. I would search the web for the supplier of the delegate and use their latest version. I did e...

Re: Why is ufraw-batch used by default on linux?

Thanks so much for the reply. Unfortunately that doesn't work for us. We get the "unknown -O option" error message as mentioned in the other thread due to the removal of the '-O' option from Dcraw. http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15605&start=0 What v...

Re: Why is ufraw-batch used by default on linux?

Hi there, Sorry to bring up an older thread, but I was wondering if you could please post your working section from delegates.xml for dcraw for Linux? I can't get anything I've tried to work. The older examples that are floating around in the documentation don't seem to work with newer versions, and...

No problem! Thanks for all your help. Being able to add [0] will fix everything for my purposes anyway. Thanks again!

Excess ICC profiles generated during extraction from PSD/PSB

Hi all, I've run into a possible bug where when extracting the ICC profile from a file. I've emailed the details through to the Imagemagick developers at http://www.imagemagick.org/script/contact.php however I wanted to post here to see if anyone else had experienced this, and/or knows at which vers...
