shouldn't the configuration of included libraries not be part of the install script?

thank you. I did 'ldconfig /usr/local/lib' and the error is gone. the message put me on the wrong foot I guess. Problem solved.

I seem to have a problem that I cannot resolve myself. I installed ImageMagick-6.9.1-10 and PerlMagick-6.89 successfully on a CentOS 7 system. Once I start a simple perl script that initiates the "use Image::Magick;", the program aborts with the following error: Can't load '/usr/local/lib6...
