What happens, or doesn't happen?

I don't understand. Do you mean you changed the script I gave you? Why?

Re: How can you add vertical text in batch using the filename.

I showed code that creates an environment variable with "\n" after each character. You can incorporate that in your original script, for example: for %%F in (Front Covers\*.png) do ( call :StrBackN "%%~nF" %IMG7%magick ^ "Front Covers\%%~nF.png" ^ ^( -background transparent -size 500x500 ^ -font Ari...

Re: How can you add vertical text in batch using the filename.

From the filename, you can make a new string that contains the same characters but separated by the two characters "\n". This is a scripting problem, not specific to ImageMagick. For example, a Windows BAT script: set strNq=%~1 set strLen=0 set NewStr= if "%strNq%"=="" exit /B 1 :loop set C=!strNq:~...

Re: Cropping Image via mask, then convert it to jpg, but get uncropped Image

Some file formats, such as TIFF, can store CMYK images with transparency.

If you want to crop images, I suggest you use "-crop".

Re: Cropping Image via mask, then convert it to jpg, but get uncropped Image

You haven't cropped anything. You have merely made some pixels transparent, with "-compose Copy_Opacity -composite". JPEG files cannot store transparency.

If you want, you could "-trim" after "-compose Copy_Opacity -composite". But in your example, "-trim" wouldn't remove any pixels.

Re: Count amount of non-continuous blocks in an image

For the flower image, the input has transparent black pixels, with bands of transparent white at top and bottom. We can see these with: magick sixFlower.png -alpha off sixflower_na.png The result sixflower_na.png is: http://snibgo.com/imforums/sixflower_na.png The connected-component list correctly ...

Sorry, I can't read Spanish.

But the answer may be to use a "for" loop.

Re: DrawRoundedRect doesn't work

From drawable.h, it seems the parameters are: double upperLeftX_, double upperLeftY_, double lowerRightX_, double lowerRightY_, double cornerWidth_, double cornerHeight_

But you have different parameters. Maybe they are okay; I don't know.

Re: Set 4 borders of different widths

The offsets are the position of the extent top-left in relation to the input image top-left, not the position of the image in relation to the extent. When creating a border, we usually want the extent to start above and to the left of the input image.

Re: Cut many images at multiple vertical points and swap parts to new image

For example:

Code: Select all

magick rose: -crop 2x1@ +swap +append x.png
You can use "magick mogrify" if you want.

Re: Set 4 borders of different widths

This can be done in a single operation, using "-extent" with %[fx:] parameters. For example, a border of (10,20,30,40) at (left, top, right, bottom):

Code: Select all

magick rose: -background Blue -extent %[fx:w+10+30]x%[fx:h+20+40]-10-20 x.png

Re: No Decode Delegate when using stdin

What version of IM?

I'm on Windows, so can't use "display", so can't test this, but does "display" read images from stdin? Perhaps you need a "-" in the position of a filename.

I don't use your build methods, so can't advise on them.

What does "magick -version" say about your build?
