make failed on gentoo

Looks like a dependency tracking problem. Try
  • make clean
    make
If that fails, try
  • ./configure --disable-dependency-tracking
    make

Set your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to the path the library is installed, for example,
  • export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
    convert logo: logo.gif
